We had a wonderful couple of days at Christy and Mary's place. Everything was as described and our favorite part was walking to some of our favorite Saugerties restaurants without a car! We were also skiing by day, so having the hot tub and listening to jazz on the beautiful turntable after a long day was quite the treat! There was a brief issue with the hot tub and the hosts were very responsive and proactive in addressing it. Our family of 2 adults and 2 girls (ages 7 and 9) loved our stay and really appreciated the mid century modern aesthetic and the girls LOVED playing some of the retro video games - a really fun and cool stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you! Arpita and family

We had a wonderful weekend here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was great and Christy was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. She reached out multiple times before we arrived and again on the day of, which made getting to and into the house completely seamless. We never felt rushed or stressed about check-in. The house is lovely. An older home, but very well cared for with tasteful updates and beautiful modern furniture. We really enjoyed the amenities and the charm of the space - especially the new hot tub after a day of skiing! Everything felt easy, comfortable, and welcoming. We were very happy with the stay and would absolutely come back!

I grew up in saugerties and haven’t lived there in over 40 years. The house was charming and everything we needed. The location was perfect. Enjoyed breakfast at the diner and a walk through downtown. Found some great shops! We would love to visit again.

We are so happy we found Christy’s fabulous home, it was the perfect base for our Hudson Valley adventure! Every detail has been thought out in her wonderful, freshly renovated home. Check in was seamless and when we stepped into the perfectly appointed kitchen we were greeted with a lovely welcome note, locally made snacks, freshly ground coffee and tips for our stay. The light filled space was immaculate, the beds were comfy, the towels and linens were also pristine! The rooms were inviting with thoughtful touches, stylish art and even a record player with a groovy selection of albums to choose from all setting the perfect scene for our family get away! We actually wished we had more time just to cozy up and enjoy the space! A huge bonus is the private back yard with a fabulous fire pit area next to a brand new hot tub which was heated up and ready to go and even a chilled bottle of bubbly when we arrived! Truly every detail has been thought of, we highly recommend!

We visited Christy's Village Farmhouse on our trip from Europe and had a wonderful stay. The host was extremely accommodating in every way. Check-in was seamless—even during a winter snowstorm, all of our questions were responded to right away and the host was very friendly in all of our interactions. We loved the local treats and recommendations, and the cozy holiday decor made the place feel extra special. It was clear that the host had put tons of thought and care into every aspect of the house. The location is unbeatable: just a block from great restaurants, and we enjoyed breakfast at the diner on the corner. The beds were super comfortable with convenient charging stations, and the stylish artwork and high-quality furnishings added so much character. The deep soaking tub was a real treat after a long, cold day. One of our favorite moments was relaxing by the fire pit while watching the snow fall - so romantic! A truly memorable stay—I highly recommend it!!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Village Farmhouse — perfect for families, especially with teens. Mary, the co-host, welcomed us with local treats and was always available for questions or recommendations. The location is ideal: right in the heart of the Village next to the library, with a quiet private backyard. Teens will love being a block from Main Street’s coffee shops, restaurants, and the indie movie theater. Don’t miss Miss Lucy’s — the Buttermilk Fried Chicken was spot-on. The house is cozy yet spacious, with historic charm, sunny kitchen, jazz records, and plenty of nooks to relax in. We loved evenings around the fire pit, and the kids had a blast with the old-school Nintendo. The Village Farmhouse is warm, thoughtful, and wonderfully located. Highly recommend!
